Janice L. Dick to release "Other Side Of The River - Volume 5 - One Day At A Time" during this weeks Thirsty Thursday Party!

Dubrowsky’s inhumane treatment of Daniel in the prison camp threatens Daniel’s life and erodes his faith. His dreams of reuniting with Luise become a slim thread that barely holds his sanity together. Meanwhile, Luise cares for Tatiana Bakunin, a young Russian woman suffering from post-partum depression, even though the woman’s husband serves the Soviet. As rumors of Daniel’s death grow and the Soviet system closes in, Luise must live one day a time according to God’s grace.
Janice L. Dick began writing intentionally in 1989, then continued to learn through courses and conferences. In 2001 she began her first novel, followed by two sequels. These historical novels were released in 2002, 2003, and 2004, the first two winning first place in The Word Guild's Canadian Christian Writing Awards. The third was shortlisted for the same award. Besides one more completed historical novel and a sequel as yet unfinished, Janice has also written a contemporary cozy, book reviews, guest blogs, articles, short stories, devotionals, stories for children, and a bit of poetry. Her editing experience includes a church history book, two chap books, a devotional volume, a women's event book, several children's books and an annual women's conference magazine. She has mentored other writers, and her writing memberships include a local writing group, Saskatoon group His Imprint, InScribe Christian Writers' Fellowship, American Christian Fiction Writers and past member of The Word Guild and Saskatchewan Writers Guild. She is an Advanced Toastmaster Silver. Janice lives with her husband on a farm on the Canadian prairies. They have three married children and nine amazing grandchildren.
