Flora Reigada's assignments as a correspondent for several newspapers including the Florida Today and now for Senior Life, brought her and photographer-husband, Dan, to many interesting people and places.
People include the chef to NASA astronauts and the historian whose passion for history was born in an old, overgrown cemetery.
Flora has also explored forests, nature trails, art shows, vintage theaters, Victorian homes and a castle, the Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine, Florida.
While on assignment at a ranch, she was nearly trampled by a spooked horse that had just thrown its rider.
Even so, "it has been an adventure and a privilege," Flora said.
In her spare time, Flora is head chef, broom and mop operator extraordinaire in her home.
She and Dan are proud parents and grandparents. The New York natives now live in Central Florida.
Congratulations on getting this wonderful book published, Flora!
